This city cartography emerged from the Transformative Landscape Photography Workshop with Andrea Botto during the Singapore International Festival in 2013. Using walking as creative ethnography, I created a sequence of moments in public spaces. I especially sought to capture the symbiotic relationship between natural and manmade presence in the City of Singapore and chose to center my inquiry on the ubiquitous presence of trees. Conducting research at the local Historical Archive helped in the framing of these transformative landscapes. I
